Hello~ just recently created an Instagram account, mainly to get over a breakup but also realize that it’s a pretty okay platform for my webcomics. Heh. Yep, you guessed, the name is capriquariusmei! XD Feel free to follow.
Starting this new webcomic series because of a couple of reasons:
- To practice my drawing using simpler characters than, say, Leo’s Debut. Okay, I know they’re not that complex for most people who draw…just me though. ^^”
- I want to bring my childhood creation, le rottenapple-san (lol nope. It is actually still nameless to this day), to life. A shameless pat on my 12 or 11 year’s old’s back. XD
This particular one is inspired by a very handsome guy who often forgets about me (and himself too…to some extent). ^^”
Now, I know the font is a bit difficult to read…but I can’t help it!! No matter how much time I’ve used to find the right font tonight, this particular font just looks so darn cute to me! @__________@ Continue reading
After forever and a day, now back with Leo’s Debut…Haven’t made any effort to improve yet. But I’m hoping that improvements will be obvious the next time I upload Leo’s Debut. ^^
By the way, gonna start a new slice-of-life webcomic soon. This time, it will feature one of my creations from back in grade 7!!!! Of course, I’ll shape it up before the series starts. Already have a silly title in mind. XD
Sneaking a bit of time here to show my appreciation for all of my favourite webtoons/manga/manhwa of the slice-of-life genre. Hope these recommendations will make for a rather relaxing (or lazy) weekend for you folks! ^^
I enjoy a lot of slice-of-life stories and there are a lot of good ones, but for some reasons these five really left a print in my heart even after a long time.

“Do you believe in magic?” starts this incredible coming-of-age story of a teenage girl name Yoon Ai. Standing at as one of the top of her class academically, Yoon Ai is hurrying herself to grow up faster so that she can take care of her younger sister and escape poverty. However, regardless of social status and economic situation, the journey of growing up is never easy. As the story unfolds, Yoon Ai will learn and accept herself. She will also realize that the magic of innocence needn’t be given up despite of how tough life can be. Another lesson illustrated through this story is that sometimes we shouldn’t merely take things at face value. This is a breathtakingly beautiful story full of metaphors and figurative speech that will just warm you up by the end of the day. Continue reading
I’m pretty sure I am entering a webtoon contest and not a down-voting contest. However, surprisingly I found that the current highest ratings happened to be 5.44 out of 10 for the LINE Webtoon Challenge League Contest (even my very grumpy brother thought it was ridiculous). Just when I was pretty sure that people would have some integrity in them to read before voting, I was dead wrong. As soon as my webtoon, Leo’s Debut, got a miracle 5.5 rating (thanks to my brother’s vote) and got to the highest rating column, then not even 30 seconds after my brother voted (I refreshed the page right after), someone else quickly down-voted my webtoon as if his or her life depended on it.
