The inspiration for this came from my dad. My dad has a strange habit of trying out perfume on himself whenever he tries to pick one as a present for my mom. Apparently, he didn’t know that there are testing paper for him to try out the perfume with. =/ Ah…yes, this is also one of my earlier work (like extremely back in the days), so the drawing sucks a lot.

My “Official” Debut as a Webtoon Artist
Yesterday, I finally got off my lazy bum, registered for a mangafox account (instead of staying as a lurker), and uploaded Leo’s Debut on the website! Woohoo!! It might not be much of a big deal to anyone else, but for me, it’s one small step that I have taken to make one of my long-time dreams a reality. Now, I understand what other published writers might feel after getting their first book out on the market. Of course, I’m not making a cent out of Leo’s Debut right now and probably not planning to in the near future either, unless if I have enough materials to publish it as an actual comic book like Garfield. However, if it ever comes to that point (still seems very far away now), the webtoon itself will still be free, the book will just be there for hardcore fans to purchase (I really don’t mean to sound arrogant, but I do dream big).
Comic – Leo’s Debut
Cupid’s Arrow
Reviving a Childish Dream
Leo’s Debut is a comic that I created a few years back, during one of those boring accounting lectures. When my first post got featured in the school paper, I was ecstatic and even went over my head to create a blog solely dedicated to this comic…Yes, just because of that one post which got featured. Unfortunately, I was eventually swamped with assignments & exams to study for, so I didn’t take the whole thing very far. Eventually, I took down the blog. =*[ Anyways, I’m gonna revive it now that I’m between things to do.
The Appearance of Hardworking
I was an extremely hardworking lass during my first year of working (would still be if I have a job right now). However, as I got to know the corporate culture better, I became guilty of eating constantly at my desk. It’s a good thing my supervisor didn’t mind too much because I was a decent performer. Food equals brain power for life. =P
Arrogance versus Confidence
Arrogance might give you a chance if you’re lucky, but confidence gives you chances even when days are kind of gloomy.
